I guess it was the month of october in the year 2008when I went to my cousin`s(elder by 4 years) house for celebrating durga puja. That night nobody was at home excluding him,me and his friends. So one of his friend said that we should have beer,my cousin looked at me…..i said no probs I’ll have coke instead.
They brought kingfisher strong can for themselves and coke for me. But after sometime they insisted that I should also try some beer. I also got excited that for the first time I will be teasting beer and that too kingfisher so I also agreed and giggling we started sipping our cans.
I absolutely hated it. But would dare "okay do two swallows without a break in between!" until my can half empty. "I think I'm drunk!" and etc, you know how it goes. Suddenly the my mobbile rings! Its my dad- he said they ‘ll be back within 1 hour as it was night and cold outside and they had also visited most of the pandals!!!My cousin and I freak out! I dumped my beer down the sink(because no way could I guzzle the rest, especially at the already inebriated state I thought we were at). Then washed the sink. Then brushed our teeth with excessive amounts of toothpaste.
But we were SURE they could smell beer in the air so we were in a state of fear. So my cousin starts sprayin room freshner as I dump the plastic bags full of beer can some where far from the house. We now have a bag full of popcorn which was for eatin g while drinking. We're standing awkwardly in the kitchen. Still too suspicious. So we rush in sitting room and put on any DVD of some movie I guess “Jane Tu Ya Jane Na”. We start the disc halfway through. We finally are able to act relaxed just as my and my cousin's parents enter.
Now... when we meet we drink sometimes in restaurent on in bar but never in home….also in I some times drink with my friends here…………….I have also tasted Long Island Iced Tea, Blue MF, Apple Martini….and I want to increase my list……………………….
